  rule 001.   : following / unfollowing

if i follow you, congrats! i'm definitely interested in writing with you, but if not that doesn't mean i won't still interact--i might not have scoped out your blog yet, so please come throw things at me--i don't bite! i usually write novella/paragraph style replies, but please do not feel the need to match length. i prioritize quality over quantity. i try not to be too picky since there are all sorts of people from different levels/backgrounds/ethnicities/etc. but i do find that i have a hard time writing with people with poor grammar/english because sometimes i have a really hard time following. still, i'm happy to write with anyone of any background, even if english isn't your first language or you aren't the perfect grammatical genius.  rule 004.   : relationships  
any ships on this blog are going to be strictly focused on chemistry...unless i know you and we plot outside of tumblr you can assume that our muses have no romantic affiliations. these muses are much more platonic-oriented and 9 times out of 10 i probably won't ship them, but don't take it personally! your muse is allowed to have feelings/shoot their shot, i just can't promise mine will reciprocate. i have been coming around to writing more pre-established relationships starters and will occasionally write them, but that relationship will always be described in the description of the post. please read it.

  rule 005.   : interacting ic & ooc  
i’m always open to chatting ooc whether it be to plot or just to talk, even if i’m not usually the first to strike a conversation. unfortunately, i also generally can be very bad at replying to ooc messages so if i just disappear and we were chatting don't take it personally please i have forgetful undiagnosed adhd brain...if you’re too scared to talk in the dms, feel free to send inbox messages too! i love when people love my characters/writing and if that means you need to be on anon to interact for a while, that’s totally understandable. and if it takes a while for me to respond to an inbox message PLEASE POKE ME. i literally read inbox messages and forget to reply all the time, it's my weakness.  rule 006.   : thread dropping  
i reserve the right to drop our thread for any reason and without warning…generally, i will try to make announcement posts when dropping more plot-heavy threads, but sometimes (( especially if we don't chat ooc )) i will literally just delete drafts on a whim…i will try to message you if i’m looking at dropping a thread, but honestly sometimes i give myself so much anxiety about just messaging to say i wanna drop a thread that it isn’t worth the hassle of psyching myself up about it. if i drop a thread, it’s nothing personal–i’m probably just busy or out of muse or overwhelmed–and i’m usually open to starting something new. if you're worried i might have dropped one of our threads because you haven't heard from me in a while, please say something!! sometimes things get lost and even if i did drop it, i'd much rather you approach me about it so i know you're still interested in writing together.  rule 007.   : tumblr etiquette  
I don't require reblog karma or anything like that, but it is nice when people reblog memes and such from the source...still, it's not like a requirement or anything, mostly just something i've noticed becoming more of an etiquette on tumblr these days. that said, if i reblog memes or something from you and your rules say to reblog from source please let me know! i've made this mistake before simply because i forgot that blog in particular had that rule & i fixed it immediately when they mentioned, no offense taken.  rule 008.   : in a nutshell
